The Flextron Steel Female gas fitting adapts gas connector nut to appliance inlet or gas supply. These fittings are from FTGC-38 series and manufactured from solid bar stock for a seamless, durable design. The flared end of the fitting connects to the gas connector nut. The female end connects to the gas appliance inlet, gas ball valve or gas supply stub out. Threads create a cold weld with the end of the gas connector, making a strong and leak tight seal. This Fitting is used with 1/2 inch outer diameter flare x 3/8 inch (FIP) female iron pipe. Gas connector adaptor fitting for appliances with moderate BTU demands such as a four-burner stove, water heater or dryer.
